Codific follows the principle of data minimization in all our applications, we strive to collect only the essential data we need.
Right to be informed: Data subjects are able to see their data in the mobile app and web portal and this data is used solely for the purpose of attendance tracking. Additionally, trainers can optionally allocate institute numbers to students, as an extra way to identify them, also for the purpose of student attendance tracking. Students will be able to see when they have an institute number allocated to them.
Right to access: Subjects can see all the data that has been collected from them when registering. The name, surname, email address and (optionally) their institute number are all visible in the “Settings” screen on the mobile app and in the web portal in the “My profile”
Right to rectification: Data subjects can modify their name and surname in the app. Modifying their email address is not possible as this would prevent the fulfillment of the purpose of attendance tracking. Students can additionally modify their institute numbers by asking their trainer to do so.

Right to data portability: Data subjects can print out their profile page and attendance reports. Trainers can also export attendance into an XLS file.
Right to object: As only the minimal data to fulfill the purpose of attendance tracking is collected, the right to object would prevent the purpose to be fulfilled. A student can object to using the app and can then be marked manually by the instructor.
